    About EdgeBrook Lane

EdgeBrook Lane Consulting (EBL) is a full-cycle human resources consulting firm that partners with organizations ranging from startups to established enterprises. Our clients gain access to a team of experienced HR professionals who bring varied educational and professional backgrounds to deliver practical, tailored solutions.

EBL’s services span the full employee life cycle, including organizational design, strategy and alignment, change management, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, talent management, engagement and retention, compensation analysis, HR technology, and training and development. The firm focuses on monthly retainers and project-based work that allows deep understanding of each client’s culture and goals. As a strategic partner, EBL helps business owners and executives maximize team performance, recognizing that people are every organization’s most valuable asset.

Our team members live and believe in our CORE VALUES. We don’t just offer jobs; we offer a platform for mentorship, deep client partnership, and professional growth.

    Your Role:

We are seeking a rising HR professional (5–7 years of experience) to join our team.  This role is a dedicated training ground, with a clear succession path designed to take you from a supportive team member to  strategic lead, managing high-impact client engagements. You will be the architect and the builder:

    • Client Support: You will start by shadowing senior consultants during client meetings, gaining a "fly-on-the-wall" perspective on how we influence C-suite leaders and solve complex HR challenges.  You will also focus on providing support to guide HR strategy alongside EBL’s senior consulting team while also confidently pushing back when necessary.

    • End-to-End HR Management: Develop, implement, and evaluate HR systems, policies, and workforce strategies tailored to each client's unique culture.

    • Project Support: Assist senior consultants in driving projects from start to finish, providing key tactical support to ensure you have the guidance needed to balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution.  As you gain confidence, you will take on more ownership.

    • Succession Planning: Your trajectory is defined by your impact. As you prove your ability to manage project deliverables, you will gradually scale into managing your own client portfolio independently.

    What You Bring

    • Experience: 5–7 years of HR experience (HR Generalist, HR Manager), ideally within small-to-mid-sized businesses. We are looking for candidates who are HR "leadership-adjacent" and eager to grow.

    • Collaborative Mindset: You are eager to partner with our senior consultants to tackle complex challenges while independently owning your project deliverables.

    • "Fractional" Drive: An agile self-starter who thrives on variety, manages time effortlessly across multiple priorities, excels at project management and brings previous exposure to the full HR life cycle.

    • Relationship Excellence: You are deeply service-focused but possess the confidence to guide leaders effectively and build deep, lasting trust.

    The Deal

    • Compensation: A guaranteed, W-2 base salary plus incentive pay. Our model is designed to reward your direct impact: as you increase your billable hours and expand your client portfolio, your total earnings scale accordingly. This provides both the stability of a base salary and the opportunity to grow your income based on your professional contributions, with rates set between $45–$55/hr.

    • Mentorship: You won't be stranded on an island. You’ll be part of a talented, innovative HR team where you can bounce ideas around, refine your advisory skills, and learn from other pros.

    • Flexibility & Growth: While this is a consistent, growth-oriented role, we maintain the flexibility that defines our firm.

Are you ready to build the next phase of your HR career?

If you are ready to bring your HR expertise to a dynamic, supportive team, we would love to see if EBL is the right fit for your career growth. Please apply with your resume and a brief note on why you are interested in the fractional consulting model.
